Question library

In the questionnaire editor (Vivid), you can then create one or more question groups. This is necessary in order to be able to formulate individual questions at all—there are no questions without question groups. Question groups can be organized by topic and named accordingly (e.g., “Basic Knowledge” instead of “Group 1”), so you always have an overview—especially if you save them in the question library (see below). Within the question groups, you then create the corresponding exam questions. For the exam questions and solutions, you have seven different question types and corresponding answer options at your disposal . You can store sample solutions for automated evaluation.

We recommend that you save recurring questions and formulas in the question or formula library. This is not done automatically.

The question library corresponds to a question pool that can be useful when creating further (e-) exams at a later date. Formulas can be entered in the formula editor and saved as images in the formula library.

If you add open questions to your exam sheet, you also have the choice of whether you want to grade them on the exam sheet or online later. If you want to grade the open-ended questions on the exam sheet, a matrix for grading will appear on the exam sheet, in which you must enter the score before scanning. If you choose to grade the answers online later, no matrix will appear and you can grade the answers later after scanning via an online form.

Once you have compiled all the questions, click on Save and Exit in the top left-hand corner. The exam paper you have created will now appear in the exam paper list. In the left-hand menu under Exam Paper List, you can view and edit all the exam papers you have created at any time. You can also add new exam papers here.
